What to expect
I keep the talking short — about 15 minutes to cover safety and the basics — so you're shooting real arrows for most of the lesson.
You'll learn more from doing it than from listening to me explain it. If you've already got some experience, that first 15 minutes shifts to reviewing where you're at, so we can spend the rest of the hour on what actually needs work.
Time breakdown of the first lesson
0–15 min
Safety essentials, equipment overview, stance and bow hold.
15–50 min
Shooting practice, with form corrections and guidance given live as you go.
50–60 min
Quick wrap-up, feedback, and what to focus on next time.
What's provided
Bow, arrows, arm guard, and all other equipment — nothing to buy beforehand.
What to bring
Just yourself. Closed-toe shoes, and avoid loose sleeves or low-cut tops that could catch the bowstring.
Good to know: Whether you've never shot before or you already have some experience, the lesson adapts to you — no fitness level required to start, and if you're past the basics, I'll focus on sharpening what you've already got.
